Corporate HSSEQ Standards for Process Safety

First, a framework was established for the standards activity, including the tools and processes required to ensure consistency and integration of the resulting documents. The task included authoring several standards, including those covering auditing, management review, management of change and, of course, the “standard for standards”. The challenge was to meet the sponsors’ demands for brevity and pragmatism whilst retaining sufficient content to ensure the standards would have a positive impact on the business and lay a solid foundation for local procedures, training and audits.
