EFQM and Integrated Business Improvement Plan
The assignment was to lead the transformation of the company’s traditional, ISO9002 compliance-based quality system into a fully integrated management system, including certification to ISO9001and AS9100. Conflicting customer demands from GE (Six-Sigma), Airbus (EFQM) and Rolls-Royce (3-in-1) were resolved by introducing a company-wide Business Improvement Plan, aligned with the EFQM model and integrated with existing certifications. The project included training and mentoring over 30 improvement facilitators and establishing a suggestion scheme throughout the factory and office areas.
