QFactorial Service offering
Implementation
Our full-service audit support programme developed through the following stages, all the while responding to changes in client circumstances and support requirements.
- Creating a new and integrated audit programme to cover all the standards in an efficient and value-adding way.
- Establishing a structured internal audit process with best practice embedded in a new audit report template and an all-purpose action tracker.
- Executing the audit programme, carrying out monthly audits, issuing reports, expediting and verifying corrective actions.
- Developing a bespoke auditor training course with company specific case studies.
- Delivering the training via a combination of online tuition and in person, hands-on audit practice.
- Coaching in house auditors in live audit situations and gradually handing over lead auditor duties, with continued mentoring.
- A fully shared audit programme delivered jointly by QFactorial and the Red Penguin QHSE team.
Auditing is a skill. Like any other skill, it requires all the elements of competence to create a good auditor, a professional report and a meaningful, valuable audit experience. We’ve seen some pretty poor examples of audits, audit reports and, let’s face it, auditors. That’s usually because management thinks that anyone can have a go. The same way that anyone can have a go at baking bread. There is a well-documented and repeatedly proven recipe for good quality audits. But you don’t become an auditor by putting on an auditor’s hat and reading ISO 19011. You need the training, knowledge and experience to do it right, focus on the right things, and make it meaningful and valuable to your victi…sorry…auditees.
The best customer is a satisfied customer, and this was certainly the case when the client felt confident enough to bring some of the auditing in-house and cash-in on the training provided by QFactorial. More than that, we now have a truly collaborative approach, combining the best of both worlds – consultant independence and client business insight.
Thank you, Kevin, for the certificate and again, many thanks to yourself and Mark for the great training experience last week, it will no doubt come in useful throughout my career!”
